Coming February 2026
Art Basel Qatar
Art Basel Qatar is Art Basel's fifth premier event and our newest show, launching in February 2026.
Anchored in a dynamic long-term partnership with Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) and QC+, Art Basel Qatar will debut as a concisely curated showcase celebrating Qatar’s vibrant cultural landscape and the dynamic arts ecosystem of the MENA region. The inaugural edition of Art Basel Qatar will be held at M7, a creative hub in the heart of Doha, as well as at the Doha Design District in downtown Msheireb.
Under the stewardship of Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, Qatar stands as a proud center for culture and creativity and a home to world-class art collections, renowned institutions, and celebrated festivals of design and photography. Marking its 20th anniversary in 2025, Qatar Museums is also leading the development of the future Art Mill Museum and Lusail Museum, as well as a permanent Qatar Pavilion in Venice’s Giardini della Biennale. Art Basel Qatar will build on this exciting momentum, introducing a fifth premier event to our ecosystem.
This partnership underscores Art Basel’s commitment to powering the world of art, extending well beyond the fair itself through year-round touchpoints in Qatar and across our global platform. In doing so, Art Basel Qatar will serve as a gateway to the creative culture of the Middle East and further accelerate opportunities for artists, galleries, patrons, and partners to connect, collaborate, collect, and engage with art worldwide.
