Invisible Choreography: QC+ at Art Basel Qatar 2026

Art Basel Qatar

Bringing together leading international galleries, artists, collectors, and institutions from across the MENASA region and beyond, Art Basel Qatar launched in Doha in February 2026, marking a major milestone for the region’s cultural landscape and reinforcing Qatar’s position as a global destination for contemporary art.

QC+ served as a key cultural and operational partner, responsible for coordinating hospitality, retail, logistics, and on-ground operations. Embedded within the Art Basel Qatar framework, QC+ aligned these elements into a cohesive visitor experience, focusing on building the infrastructure that supported the fair’s delivery while keeping attention firmly on art and cultural exchange—an approach described as an “invisible choreography” behind the scenes.

As part of its hospitality mandate, QC+, through Qatar Creates, delivered the QC Lounge for the duration of the fair. Open to all Art Basel Qatar attendees, the lounge was conceived as a calm environment within the fair’s dynamic context, with a discreet private meeting space provided as an additional setting for confidential conversations.

As part of QC+’s partnership with renowned Qatari chef Noof Al Marri, AB Café featured her brands Desert Rose Café and Raseef Regag, introducing visitors to authentic Qatari flavours and celebrating the nation’s culinary heritage. Adjacent to the lounge, QC Market presented a curated retail selection of design objects and artisanal creations, complementing the fair’s artistic programme.
