Founded in 2010, Mathaf holds the world’s most extensive collection of modern and contemporary art from the Arab world. Located in a converted former school building in Education City, the museum presents a permanent collection alongside major temporary exhibitions that highlight artists from across the region and beyond. With its distinctive spaces and thought-provoking programmes, Mathaf offers a unique perspective on Arab modernity and creativity.
